Caserío Rural en Azpeitia

The history of the Baiolei farmhouse dates back to the 16th century

But everything changed when in 2010 the original farmhouse was demolished and a steel company from Azpeitia was installed. Thus, the farmhouse was relocated to the Izarraitz de Azpeitia neighborhood.

In the spring of 2016, after a visit to the Netherlands and after the experience lived, the idea of starting to rent rooms for rural tourism was born. We started renting a room and the next day we had an Argentinian at the front door.

Seeing the market demand, I started the rural house business. Preparing the bedrooms with great care, so that the visitor can equally enjoy our beautiful rural environment and the peace that we enjoy in a highly protected natural area.

Meeting your hostess

At the age of 17, I started working in the hotel business. My first job was at the Azpeitia Hotel, I worked as a waitress. That’s how I had the opportunity to experience the inner workings of the hotel, I learned what a hotel was. Likewise, I have worked in different restaurants, both as a waitress and in the kitchen.

In 2016 I traveled to Amsterdam with my little ones to an apartment and when I returned, the idea of the country house came to me. I had the infrastructure made, and enough space to be able to set up what is today Baiolei.

Parallel to the rural house I studied early childhood education. Today I combine my day-to-day work as an educator making substitutions. I like simplicity, and being with family, friends, and guests. I also like to be in contact with nature and work in the garden.
